Apart from owning only a fedora and bucket hat I am not much of a hat fanatic, heck! I’m still trying to master the art of headwrap tying. One slightly less popular yet practical and tomboy accessory trend is the beret’s cousin- the paperboy cap (a.k.a the baker boy, news boy or poor boy cap). The paperboy cap is a versatile and very laid back accessory which is iconic of the 60s and 70s and made a comeback in the 90s as it was worn by supermodels like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
You can alternate between this Oliver Twist famed hat and Parisian berets in various textures such as canvas, wool, tweed, checks, leather and denim to stay warm. Also, wearing a hat keeps your hair in place and gives some protection from the icy wind and harmful sun rays.
