DIY Fashion Trend: Pearl Embellished Denim

The pearl embellished trend is nothing new, it’s been around for a while to be honest and has been worn by fashion forward girls such as style icon Rihanna, TV star Lorna Maseko and supermodel Jordan Dunn. This urban street style is a modern take on ladylike meets edgy. Pearls are feminine, chic and elegant which directly contrasts the style of ripped distressed denim. Pearls give the edgy jeans more character and make them stand out even more.

This trend is one for the creatives, those who like a good cathartic and uncomplicated DIY project like myself. The really cool thing about this 3D polka dot outfit is you can get as creative as you want, adding your own personality to the design by stitching on pearls, jewels and studs of your choice. For sure you’ll not find anybody else wearing the exact same creation as your own.
