As I mentioned in a previous post, Not Your Average White Shirt (click here), 2017 was definitely the year of the sleeve. We saw sleeves in delicate intricate designs to the most exaggerated designs in the form of ruffles, layers, rouching and puffs. I’m convinced one of the fashion Gods just shouted “Sleeve! Give them sleeves!” and sleeves it was. Dramatic sleeves are not about to go anywhere, we’ll probably be seeing more of them for the next few fashion seasons. I for one am not complaining.
About this outfit:
Bell sleeved top: City Girl @Highland Mews/ Pinafore style dress- Rage/ Heels- / Earrings- Lovisa
I particularly like this kind of sleeve detail because it’s just the right amount of detail and doesn’t take all the attention. It allows you to get even more creative with your outfit or just keep it subtle with the sleeves doing all the work. I bought my bell sleeved top first and the look was further inspired by the various options below taken from Pinterest:
Look 1: Black Pants
Look 2: Dress
Look 3: Skirt
Look 4: Jeans
