Hello there!
So as you might have read on my previous post ‘2018: The Fashion Stakes Have Gone Up!‘ (click here) one of my fashion goals for this year is to not only up my style game in the work wear department but to pay closer attention to detail in my style. I want to wear everyday classics that have that unique twist to them that turns heads and this crisp white shirt does exactly that. That ‘unique twist’ could be in the form of an embellished button, ruffles, studs, embroidery or even layered tassels.
I didn’t want the typical boring formal white shirt so when I spotted this stylish draw string rouched sleeve beaute on my mini H&M shopping spree I immediately got on my tippy toes and pulled it off the top rail. Considering the other items I bagged at H&M on a first time trip there I definitely see myself doing more mini shopping hauls there. They sure do cater for my kind of fashion style and pocket.
A good factor about this shirt is that it’s semi-fitted because I don’t like baggy clothes that sag or hang on my slender frame. The Chinese collar is perfect because that means there are no chances of smudging make up on my collar, though I hardly ever do.
There is no doubt that 2017 was the year of the sleeve. We saw very subtle detail to the most extravagant sleeve. This year we’re going to continue seeing our usual everyday garments re-designed with some very intricate detail.
