Tis the Season

Merry Christmas to you! 🎄🎄🎄

For the longest time now Christmas has not had much meaning to me. I mean the carols, decor, cute wrapped gifts under the tree and those goofy hats. I don’t know how and when Christmas just became a regular holiday for me. I always thought that maybe the Christmas spirit and cheer would come back to me when I have kids of my own some day because it will be a different experience of me reliving nostalgic memories through them and also teaching them about Christmas.

For some reason this year is a little different. I’m actually a little excited for Christmas. I took a good long moment to look at my life and count all the things I have to be thankful for. I have a job, I have parents, a family, a support system and I get to complain about things that a lot of people pray for. Blessings upon blessings. It’s been a good long year and I’m thankful for everything it has taught me and given me. It truly is the season to be jolly ☺ I even got this stunning cute number to dress up!
