Ooooooh! Printed dresses are most definitely my secret weapon.
You see the thing about prints is they sort of “hide” or camouflage rather your body insecurities. We all have those days we feel a little chubby, bloated and “does my butt look wobbly in this?” Prints take the attention away from bumps, bulges, slightly offensive visible panty lines and cellulite, well depending on how intense what you’re insecure about is.
Another advantage of prints is you literally don’t have to wear any accessories if you don’t want to. I like to pack print dresses when traveling so I don’t have to carry too many necklaces, earrings, bangles beads, etc… . Just my studs, sunnies and watch will do. These dresses are also super quick and easy to iron and are perfect when you’re running late and don’t have time to mix’n’match a killer outfit. I like to wear the black and white dress with a black blazer to work for a more formal look.
Though I also think it’s important to choose more structured dresses made with thicker material and lining, you don’t want a dress that stretches so much that its see-through or one that is so flimsy your butt jiggles. In that case you can wear spanks or tights.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is coming along just right.
